How to Produce Extruded Heat Sink?

Imagine an aluminum ingot, you know, a big block of aluminum, just lounging around until it’s time to shine. It gets heated up to a toasty 520 to 540 °C. Picture it like a spa day but super hot. This turns the aluminum nice and flowy, almost like syrup (but don’t try it on your pancakes!).

Next, this liquid aluminum is pushed through an extrusion die. Think of this die like a fancy cookie cutter with grooves. Under high pressure, the aluminum oozes through and forms the shape we need—kind of like squeezing out toothpaste, but with metal.
